Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 2026
Cheqpoint uses a minimal number of cookies — only what is strictly necessary to operate the service.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to operate the Cheqpoint service. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
2. Cookies We Use
cheq_session — a secure, HTTP-only, HMAC-signed session cookie. This is required to keep you logged in to the Cheqpoint dashboard. It expires after 7 days of inactivity. We do not set any third-party cookies. Stripe may set cookies on checkout pages for fraud prevention — these are governed by Stripe's own cookie policy.
3. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics (no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting) to understand aggregate usage patterns — for example, which documentation pages are most visited. No personally identifiable information is collected for analytics purposes.
4. How to Control Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the cheq_session cookie will prevent you from staying logged in. All major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) allow you to manage cookies via Settings → Privacy.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the dashboard. This policy was last updated in April 2026.
